This is a three story home with five porches, eight and a half acres of lush gardens, a boat dock with available pontoon boat charters, ponds, fountains, an aviary with pea fowl, and an apiary of honey bees. The home is appointed with very fine antiques and decorative accessories, but also with all the modern amenities one would expect of such luxurious accommodations. Jarrod can arrange seafood boils, fishing charters, and airboat tours. We can stock your fridge and even teach you the basics of Cajun cooking, including how to make a roux.

House Rules

This is for a whole house rental. No children under the age of 12 due to the balconies and close proximity to the Bayou. No live flames inside the house or on the wooden balconies. Any events must be cleared ahead of time and will require additional rules, event insurance, and fees. All bookings require a cleaning fee. A refundable damage deposit will be required.

Located along beautiful Bayou Teche in an area noted for the old Spanish Trail. Peaceful, relaxing and of course, the cuisine is great!!

Guest Access

This is a rental of an 11,000 square foot house. You will have access to the entire home and the full acreage. Please note there is also a separate two bedroom cottage which can be booked separately, and which may have guests during your stay. If absolute privacy is required please enquire about the Audubon Cottage.

There is plenty of of parking, on 9 acres, but a car will be needed for transportation in the neighborhood.
