Nearest full‑service passenger airport is Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) ~30–40 miles by car; New Iberia/Jeanerette have a small general aviation field (Le Maire Memorial Airport, 2R1) for private planes. Amtrak does not stop in Jeanerette — nearest Amtrak stations are in Lafayette or New Iberia area (check current service), so long‑distance rail travel requires a drive to a staffed station. Taxis and ride‑hail (Uber/Lyft) are available but coverage and wait times vary; renting a car is recommended for most visitors.
